First of all I want to make sure I'm not doing the "hot vs hardware thing".
I know the HW is always the way to go.
What I'm asking is as title says. We are now in 2022, surely smartphones OS and firmware are way stronger than 3-4 years ago.
As long as a user doesn't connect to public WiFi or downloads things from sketchy websites, is there really a high chance of getting our crypto stolen?
Not to mention that now the vast majority of smartphones (if not all of them) are either on Android or iOS, which depending on how you view it are made by very solid companies, one open-source and the other closed.
Are there really that many stories of people getting their assets stolen by a compromised phone or is a non-issue type of thing nowadays?
Edit: If you have any video or article that can help me knowing more to this topic I will be very grateful. I'm looking forward to educate myself more!
