How long will it take for an unconfirmed transaction to drop off?

I swept a wallet recently in Trezor Suite (using the Send Max) feature, and used the default fee that the suite chose for me. Suffice to say, it guessed wrong, network conditions must have changed afterwards and I've now waited 2 days for it to remain unconfirmed. RBF is turned on, but the issue is because I've swept the wallet, I have no sats to replace that transaction to speed it up.

I've been Bitcoin'ing for 10 years and I've never had this happen before. How long does it usually take for that transaction to leave the mempool? Does it just magically appear back at the origin address someday?

UPDATE: Thanks to /u/igadjeed and /u/Stock-Story5857, I've understood that I just needed a few more sats from another wallet to utilize replace-by-fee (RBF). This particular transaction originated in a Hidden wallet, and in this context Trezor did not recognize I had sats available in another wallet, since I'd have to switch to view or use them. So I sent some sats from one of those wallets, to the hidden one that needed the funds. I could also have purchased the sats I needed from an exchange, or borrowed them from a sympathetic friend. That gave me the fees I needed to use RBF and confirm the replacement transaction, and the original one no longer exists. I love this technology!
