Hi! I was curious to know if there is any information available on the number of Ethereum tokens that have been lost permanently. By lost, I mean the tokens that were intentionally burned, or whose account's private key was accidentally forgotten, or the owner of the tokens passed away without passing on the keys to anyone else. I am wondering if the amount of lost tokens is significant enough to consider adjusting Ethereum's market cap accordingly since these tokens will never be in circulation again.
While I have come across several articles on Bitcoin claiming that around 20% of all bitcoins are lost, I haven't bene able to find any such information on Ethereum.
