I'm looking to incorporate Tether (USDT) into my portfolio as a way to manage liquidity. I already invest in other assets, and I self-custody my Bitcoin, but Tether is new to me. I’m hoping some of you can offer guidance on the basics here.

1. Where to buy Tether – I know it's widely available on many exchanges, but I'm looking for recommendations on secure platforms, especially those that make it straightforward to transfer USDT to a personal wallet.

2. Best wallet options for USDT – For Bitcoin, I use a hardware wallet, but I'm unsure which wallets are reliable and offer good support specifically for Tether.

3. Choosing the blockchain for USDT – With Tether available on multiple blockchains (Ethereum, TRON, etc.), I’m not sure which one would be best for long-term storage. Are there trade-offs between security, fees, and convenience?
