How to Create a Billion Dollar Meme Coin: Step-by-Step Tutorial

We’ve all witnessed the rise of Pepe, but have you ever wondered how to create your own crypto meme coin that has the potential to be worth a billion dollars? In this post, I'll guide you through the process by creating PrezCoin, a coin created in preparation for the upcoming US election, showcasing my personal favorite meme, AI presidents.

Part 1: Creating the Coin and Adding Liquidity

1. Connect Metamask: Ensure you have Metamask installed on your browser (Download from their official website: metamask.io).
2. Prepare ETH for Gas and Liquidity: Transfer a suitable amount of ETH from your exchange to your wallet. 0.1 ETH should be more than enough for gas and determine how much you want to allocate for liquidity. Keep in mind that lower liquidity will lead to bigger price fluctuations when buys or sells are made. For example, I used 2 ETH for my liquidity pool, but you can use as little as you want.
3. Code Your Coin: Utilize Open Zeppelin at openzeppelin DOT com/contracts and the official Ethereum remixer at remix.ethereum.org to code your meme coin. Beware of scam websites with similar names.
4. On the Open Zeppelin contracts page you can choose the name of your token, symbol, and token supply under “premint.” For example, I typed in “PrezCoin” under name, “PREZ” under symbol, and “1,000,000,069” under premint and didn’t change anything else on that page. When you’re satisfied, click on “Open in Remix” on this page.
5. Compile and Deploy: After being redirected to remix.ethereum.org, make sure your code looks the same as it did on Open Zeppelin and click "Compile.” Then click the deploy button on the left side (arrow looking button on the bottom of the left sidebar menu). Switch the environment to "Injected Provider - Metamask," then click deploy and accept the gas fees prompted by Metamask.
6. Deploy and Save the Token Address: After a short wait, your token will be deployed, and the token address will appear at the bottom left under "deployed contracts." Copy the address and save it. This is the contract address given for PrezCoin on the Ethereum blockchain: 0x8852FEb99c8d01B2356f0596E1B81Bc2773d69a6.
7. Import Your Token: Open Metamask, go to "Assets," choose "Import Tokens," paste your token's address, and click "Add custom token."
8. Add Liquidity: To give your token value, head to app DOT uniswap DOT org/#/pools. Click “more,” “V2 Liquidity,” then “Add V2 Liquidity.” Click “Select a Token” and paste in the contract address of your coin.
9. Provide Liquidity: Determine the amount of your coin and how much ETH you’d like to add to the liquidity pool. I chose to add 2 ETH and 920,000,000 PrezCoin. I saved 80,000,069 PrezCoin to add to centralized exchanges and other liquidity pools in the future. Once you’ve decided, click “Supply” and approve the transaction.
10. Congratulations! Your token is now ready to be traded on Uniswap and will appear on platforms like Dextools.io. There are two ways to trade your coin:

• You can use the direct link to your coin on Uniswap OR
• You can go to the trade or swap section, paste the address of your token, and start trading.
