Could someone point out a way to create a private ETH node?
I would like to do some operations on it like creating some accounts, doing some transactions, and running some smart contracts. Nothing would escape my computer and affect the balance of anyone. But it should be useful for programming.
There are some solutions on the internet coming from a "private Ethereum chain" Google search. But none of them worked correctly for me. Ethereum has changed significantly and a lot of documentation is obsolete.
Is there some solution that is running right now or provided by Ethereum.org to get a private chain?
