Hey folks. I'll buy some coins this week and would like to know what's your strategy to minimize the amount of fees that you end up paying to acquire and send coins to your addresses.
I know that Coinbase Advanced Trading and Kraken Pro are better options than their "basic" counterparts, but even on those platforms, how do you go about it when buying bigger amounts of crypto? Also, does it make sense to let's say swap the BTC you bought for Algo, send it to another address and then swap it back to BTC to avoid potentially high gas fees?
Last but not least: do you prefer funding your exchange account with USD or not?
First time I bought crypto I made the mistake of using regular Coinbase app on my phone. Only after the transaction I realized the ridiculously high fees that were charged. Never again lol.
Thank you in advance! Please answer all 3 questions if possible. Cheers.
