how to move ETH from opensea to metamask?

I sold a reddit collectible avatar NFT on opensea recently and metamask confirmed that it had been sold , yet when i went to check on my metamask wallet's balance it was still zero , and then i checked my opensea wallet's balance and found my ethereum from the sale on there , keep in mind that i set metamask to polygon/matic so that may be the reason why the ethereum isn't on there but i may be wrong , and so this brings us to my question , is there a way to move that ethereum to my metamask wallet?
