How were you As a beginner trader ?

Were everyone in this Reddit a winner from Start or did you loose because you were new to the game . I myself was a beginner doubled my Binance funds in a day . Which gave me some kind of bravery and later on I lost all of it in liquidation . How do you compare yourself to your beginner self . Also any tips you learned along the way would also be appreciated . I know patience and not being greedy are some obvious ones but I would also like to read any stories about your trades and experiences as a beginner. Now for example I did not know I loose all my margin on futures so I thought I was hacked but I realized. Anyways this was the basic idea . Don’t want to keep it to long.
