How would you feel about a site-wide token on Reddit? Of course, we all know that Reddit is apparently planning to introduce community points all over Reddit eventually. However, having been thinking about moons recently, I realised that having a bunch of cryptocurrencies all over Reddit that function similarly to Moons could be a little messy. For example, we can buy coins(that can only be used here), tip them to other users, or sell them(illegally I might add, as it's against Reddit's terms of service).
However, I recognize that Reddit may want to do additional things with Community Points in the future, and having a site-wide token may help with that.
This point becomes especially important when you realize that quite a few people on Reddit(and subs) are ferally against anything crypto-related, which we got a small taste of when Reddit introduced NFT Snoos, both paid-for and free
EDIT: It seems I have been misunderstood. I'm not talking about NFTs here, I'm talking about RCPs
Edit2: Interesting. In terms of moons, the "Yes option is the least popular, but when it comes down to pure votes, it's outstripping "No" by a fair margin
