How would you feel if the crypto space slowly deflated out of relevance?

I'm not here to say it will or argue about the future of crypto. I am interested in how you would feel if it did go away. Would you consider your time spent reading white papers, staring at charts, watching YouTubers, listening to podcasts and/or doing research a waste of time. Would you find it silly or embarrassing? Would you see your time spent in crypto valuable outside of money?
