In the past 7 years I have always bought bitcoin when the FOMO was the highest. I bought it back around $1500, $4500 then 7000 then $18000, $22,000 and last time around $69,000 and I have recently started buying again around $63,000!
I do not DCA! I may be the poster child of bad decisions with one simple exception. I never sold any of my bitcoins and that is why bitcoin has been the best life-changing investment I ever had.
I have enough to start planning for a modest retirement but I will be buying again while the price is going up and I know I will chicken out when it enters the bear market but coming next halving I will retire a wealthy man.
I guess the moral of my experience is that as long as you HODL with bitcoin there is no going wrong even when you only buy at the top like I always do.
