I understand that making money in this market requires following market trends and narratives, but why are AI and Gaming chains even a trend to begin with?
Can someone tell me how AI enhances a blockchain, or how a blockchain enhances AI? I've seen one chain that claims that they'll reward people for GPU time that will be used to train AIs. Even if you had 10 of the highest-end consumer GPUs, that isn't shit. Those aren't designed for that task. Has anyone seen the tech that Microsoft uses to power ChatGPT? That's cutting edge advanced shit that you can't decentralize - it wouldn't be anywhere nearly as efficient as it is now.
So what's the expectation here with AI? What are some niche use-cases for AI in this space? What has people excited?
As for gaming, every single blockchain-based game I've seen dies quickly. There's no point to them. They don't need a blockchain. No one is buying those tokens to play the game - they're buying them to make money
