I've been observing on NFT communities like Lazy Lions and Pudgy Penguins for some time and been wondering what makes people get onboard these hollow, cash grab NFT projects with such unreal fervour. Case in point is this brain surgeon who got a Lazy Lions tattoo:

To an extent I get BAYC and Crypto Punks, at least their 'value' as an NFT. They were the first of their kind. But then these alliterated anthropomorphic copycats that followed like LL and Pudgy Penguins, and fucking Uninterested Unicorns, I mean really...? How do you hand over your hard earned money and crypto for these and think it's a good idea?
So tell me Lazy Lions and Pudgy Penguins owners/investooors, how do you rationalise paying for what is basically a slow rug pull and building a 'community' around a jpeg that's effectively robbed you of your money and left you with nothing but a shitty picture?
