I often read posts where people discuss or try to convince their friends, family & co-workers into Crypto. To put it short, people get annoyed by that and you're wasting your time.
For an "outsider" that shit comes off like you're in some weird religion/cult and try to convince them to join and make a deposit.
I joined the Crypto space not because someone advised me to, but because I stumbled over it on my own and got intrigued. I love tech and I love Crypto but if someone would have introduced me to it, I'm 99% sure I would have ignored it.
It feels much more exciting and interesting when you find something on your own rather getting it referred from someone. Look at movies/series you got referred from & to others, I bet in most cases none of you watched it.
- I had to be a lurker for too long and miss out on profits to learn that today is always the best day to invest when you plan to go long term
- I had to get rekt investing in shitcoins and for holding them too long,
- I had to use shitty sites to buy my coins in order for me to look for alternatives
- I had to use hot wallets, until I figured out how to use hardware wallets
I had to do all those mistakes and many more to figure out I'm an idiot.
From then on, I was willing to learn and could accept others advices because I wanted to get better.
