I feel a little lost with crypto

I feel a little lost with crypto right now and I need some guidance. I started off with btc and eth in august but there’s an endless sea of tokens and so many people are bullish on so many different things. I feel like I’d almost be better off just sticking to my bitcoin but I know there’s a lot of different stuff out there that makes fantastic gains. I like exploring alts, I’ve done really well with some, others not as much.

It’s difficult for me to decide where I should put my money when there are so many options to choose from. I want to invest in a metaverse project, but I seriously hear about 10 new metaverse crypto projects every single day. All supposedly “hidden gems”.

I’d obviously like to invest in something smaller cap that does really well, but there are so many smaller caps being shilled as we all know and a lot of them I don’t even know what they do differently from one another. It’s not always practical to research every project you hear about.

Bitcoin is less exciting but I’m considering maybe that’s a better route right now for me. I’d probably have done way better percentage wise had I just put a lot of money in it. But I get fomo when I see all these people making insane money with alts that do 3x 4x 5x etc.
