I feel alone in crypto

First of all sorry for my English, im not a native.

Maybe this is just me and in my country. I Live in Portugal and the few times I mention'd Crypto, people looked to me like i was a freak, i remember this one time at work people comparing Crypto to scammy stuff, i said Crypto was legit and i explained the concept a bit and yet I got judged by "wasting my money on that type of stuff", that's exactly how ppl say it, this happen'd more than once with other people. Nowadays i don't even mention Crypto, i see people commenting about it sometimes and i don't say anything no more, people judge so much without knowing lol.

Am i alone in this boat? Has this happen to you or is it just my Country or myself that got unlucky with ppl?
