So back in 2009 near the winter I heard of Bitcoin. I had graduated college and moved back home to help with the family due to my brothers illness. I had heard I could mine with just my laptop and just was a few steps I needed to do to get it up and running.
I also was a astronomy major and I had heard of this ability to lend resources for SETI or search for extraterrestrial intelligence by using your computer to search and sift through data for “signals”. I set up SETI on my laptop and ignored Bitcoin.
I played wow and searched for aliens instead of mining Bitcoin and I think about that life choice weekly.
I found no life outside earth but I did clear Uldar in PUG. Fast forward and I had a couple kids changed careers and rediscovered Bitcoin. 2020 I finally bought some Bitcoin because the gateway to mine was outside my reach. I buy weekly and now I have laser eyes.
Hindsight is 2020 but I’m thankful for what I have and the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
