I Have Been To the Bitcoin Conference in Amsterdam and Drank Beer Using Bitcoin. Here is how it went: (spoiler alert: it was great)

At first it was crazy to see how many like-minded people have gathered in one place that I have never met before.

After waiting out the long queue ahead of me we got the wristband, we received a Lightning-based NFC card, which we could later use to pay with bitcoin at the event location.

Me and my friends especially liked that the stage reminded us much more of a living room, where the guests sat in armchairs and talked to each other, where Adam Back, CEO of Blockstream has also talked.

The evening ended with the Bitcoin whales' Whale Party event, but we headed to a pub, where we could also pay with Bitcoin thanks to the speed of the Lightning Network.

The Second day was about the differences between bank and bitcoin, but there has been a few words about blockchain technology and DEFI.

The Third day was mainly about partying. Around 10:30, the star of the evening, Endor, arrived.

As soon as the song Pump It Up started playing, almost without exception everyone rushed to the dance floor.

I REALLY LIKED IN AMSTERDAM THAT if we mentioned in a conversation on a bus, for example - either with an older lady or with younger people - that a Bitcoin conference had brought us to Amsterdam, they would smile and nod, and admit that they also owned some BTC:)
