I just realised that memorising the recovery phrase is not that hard after all, with this simple trick!

I had a work activity where the presenter listed 20 seemingly random words to us, the audience, and we had to try and memorise them in the right order, without taking notes.

At the first attempt, nobody was able to correctly recall more than 10 words, and definitely not in order.

Then the presenter told us a story. The story of course linked all those words in it..
We each rehearsed the story as a group at our respective table for no more than 5 minutes. And shortly after, when one of us was asked to tell the words, they were able to, and perfectly in order!

This is super simple yet so effective! I looked at a passphrase and realised that making up a story to interconnect the words isn't that difficult after all, with a bit of imagination.

EDIT: this should not replace the safely stored physical copies of course, just an extra/last resort precaution that I personally deemed impossible, as my memory isn't great. But I do remember a story if it's any interesting and rehearsed.

TLDR: make up a story that interconnects all your passphrase words, it will be much easier to memorise!
