I am not much of a bitcoiner but i saw the headlines recently and was shocked but then it all made sense. I am now 100% convinced Len is Satoshi.
I was active in the Philadelphia area bbs/irc scene back in the day and that's where i met Len aka rabbi. It was probably circa 1995-1998 and he would have been in his late teens. We were online friends and talked daily. At one point i got him a job interview at the company i worked (Magpage In Hockessin, DE was an early dialup ISP) but the owners thought he was strange.
Eventually my friend Sheri got him a job at PDC Solutions which was like a Sun Microsystems integrator or VAR. That company failed some time around 2003.
It's been 30 years and I don't remember much. But i do very distinctly remember he drove like a 1980-1985 BMW 3 series when he was around age 18. I remember it being a dark color maybe even with a shade of purple. We lost touch after some years but we'd chat sometimes after he left USA.
I have an old Pine mailbox i am trying to unearth where i would have communicated with Len back in the day. Maybe there's some mention or reference that helps solve the puzzle.
Now that i see the headline it makes total sense. Len even at a very young age was the most intellectual person in the room. He had the knowledge and critical thinking of an engineer with 30 years experience even as a teenager. He is one of those people that God brings to earth with a gift, contributes something to progress our universe forward and just as quickly takes them away.
This isnt a post for clout but instead to make some more record of the life of someone important.
RIP
