i lost money even with a stoploss

cpi market crash had me dropping cash even with a stoploss at my entry .apparently cease market mark worth means the place can be closed when worth reaches ur mark worth enter. so in the course of the crash position closed 50 dollars under my entry yet i had astoploss at my entry. for context i had eth long at 1710, with stoploss at 1710 ,i placed it when worth was at 1730, market crashes , i realise am down 50% , stoploss executes at 1650 . so even with a stoploss you'll be able to stil lose alot of money
