I made an on-chain transaction that appears to have taken seconds to settle... Does that sound right? I was expecting at least a couple minutes... not a few seconds.

A few days ago I initiated 2 different transactions from one wallet to another, on-chain, and the funds appeared (literally) within 5 seconds of tx approval on my cold storage device. I was surprised and confused, because I expected it to take something like minutes, not seconds, twice. Can someone explain why this happened, or am I missing something?
