I made life-changing gains investing in crypto, then lost it all gambling on futures

I don’t want this to be a sob story or anything. I just felt that I had to tell someone about it.

I’m 18, I’m in college, and I live with my parents. I managed to buy into BTC and ETH somewhat early in this bull run at $9,000 and $600, respectively. I held on to them and they, along with a few other alts, brought me life-changing money. My $3,000 investment turned into $22,000, which is a huge amount for a poor college student like myself.

Then, I discovered leveraged futures. At first, I deposited only $1500 to my Binance account to trade futures with and I started with some nice profit. Then I lost it all after a huge red candle during the first part of this dip, so I deposited another $2,000 to win it back. After losing all of that I deposited $2,000 and lost it all again.

Then I lost track of everything and didn’t know what I was thinking. I ended up depositing all of my crypto funds, depositing all of my cash, liquidating my $7,000 stock portfolio and depositing it, and maxing out my credit cards.

I know I’m an idiot and it’s completely my fault, you don’t have to tell me. I feel like absolute shit right now. I don’t know why I didn’t just call it quits. I felt like I could win it all back, so I just kept depositing money, and now I’m sitting here down $30000, in debt, and not sure what to do.

I don’t know what I’m hoping to get out of this post. I just needed to get it off of my chest. Any words of advice or anything?
