Earlier today, I went to purchase a game on g2a and saw that they accepted bitcoin. Interested, I sent the specified amount to the given address and waited. After about 20 minutes, I wasn't sure if it had properly worked. I thought maybe the amount had changed slightly and I hadn't send enough. Eventually, it went through and I received the game, however it took so much longer than just using a bank card.
So, is it cool? Yeah. Is it actually useful at the moment. No. If they accepted faster coins like Nano, I would choose it without a doubt. But at the moment, without lightning network, using bitcoin for purchases just isn't practical.
Just thought I would share my experience on my first real world use of bitcoin!
