So I got a DM on social media from someone saying he received a sum of 680 USDT, but apparently, he doesn't know how to sell it to get fiat/dollar into his bank account. So, he's asking me to teach him how to use trust wallet and says he'll pay me 200 USDT as a reward. He includes his mnemonic phrase and private key in the message. Now, I've been in crypto for a while and can smell a crypto scam. Although I know it's more than likely a scam, the voice in my head is saying "Enter that private key and see what happens." Have any of you ever gotten such an email? Could this be some sort of a dust attack? I'd appreciate your thoughts on this [link] [comments] |
