I think i messed up pretty bad ????

Hello everyone im new to crypo and still learning the ropes. I had SOL on my uniswapp account. And wanted to sent it to my Coinebase wallet. So i clicked on the recevied button on my coinebase wallet and saw the SOL address for my wallet. I tried entering it into uniswap but nothing popped up so i tried my etherium adress and it did pop up on uniswap. I procced to send it to the coinbase wallet. After a hour nothing popped up in my wallet so i checked my transaction log on coinbase wallet and it said recevied but it was WSOL not SOL but still nothing was showing in my wallet so i called coinbase support and they pretty much told me the money was gone. I decided to mess around with the app some more and pressed the bridge button and all of a sudden the money popped up in my wallet but as WSOL. Im scared todo anything else as i dont want to lose the money. Is there any way i can convert this back to regular SOL or even just straight to regular USD. or what are my options moving forward? Also what is the difference between WSOL and SOL. any advice is super appreciated.
