Landsvirkjun, the national Icelandic electrical company has confirmed it cut the amount of power it will offer for several industries, like aluminum smelters and Bitcoin miners.
A representative for the company said that it had to cut down the energy allocation to southwestern Bitcoin miners and several industrial facilities due to several problems like an issue at a power station, low hydro-reservoir levels, and accessing energy from an external supplier.
