If I could give only one advise to the newbies in the crypto subreddit it would be this!

Stay away from YouTube when it comes to crypto coin suggestions. As the bull market advances, and you spend more and more time researching crypto and individual coins, you will get flooded with crypto related YouTube videos. Many of the videos and advertising are a straight up scam, especially now in the current AI era.

Many others are just opened under a pretext of education of the masses but are really nothing more then a shilling channels towards the coins they already bought and are looking for unsuspected, naive retail investors that would support their investments.

When I go on YouTube these days to get some crypto info, all I'm really watching is many different Technical Analysis videos to get some different prospective on what interpretation of the charts people have depending on the school of thought they are into. Even many of those are only using TA to justify their purchases, so the information provided can also be very bias.

In a nut shell, be careful and take everything you hear with a pinch of salt. If its too good to be true, it probably is. If the returns they are promising are just outrageous, they probably bought the coins themselves already and are looking for a sucker to join their club. Good luck everyone.
