If some coin just pumped a lot and it is on the news it is already too late to buy it. You will be the one to buy on top and will be left holding bags.

Smart or lucky people buy coins before they pump. FOMO fools buy when they hear in crypto news that coin pumped. But it is already too late - ship sailed away, rocket started, pizza was eaten, your crush just got married and have kids to explain it in simple terms. You should bought coin week or month ago. If you didn't, then don't buy now after it pumped. Correction will happen and you will be left holding bags like last fool.

Don't let your emotions take control over you. FOMO is dangerous. Only buy if you are certain you don't mind holding coin long term, but best to DCA, cause price my dump a bit soon. Most coins that make the news aren't best for such hold though. Biggest profits are made on shitcoins. But to make those profits you need to be extremely early which is risky. If coin is on the news after huge pump chances it will pump much more are small.

Stop being greedy and emotional, just buy good alts and stick to them, maybe in few months they will be the ones that will be on the news pumping. Otherwise if you FOMO into everything that pump you will be always at loss. Every month this subreddit and crypto have new favourite and most of those coins will not survive in long term. Check daily or posts from year or two, majority coins people shilled are long forgotten, some like Luna are gone. Next week there will be another favourite coin, the one that currently pump. Don't let anyone fool you, don't listen to emotions.
