If the FTX fiasco put anyone out on the street then I feel for them, but maybe they were overexposed.

We’re all familiar with what ol scammy boy and his cronies have done and he’s facing federal charges while 2 of his compatriots have taken a plea deal. What they did was wrong and theft, but I’ve come across many people saying how he caused the bankruptcy of many and how he’s worse than other criminals like Bernie Madoff or Jeffrey Skilling…

They all suck and didn’t think they’d get caught

While I have sympathy for those affected, if they had their life savings riding on crypto or an exchange then they too should accept some of the blame. Looking at cryptocurrency as your “last chance” is an extremely dangerous fallacy and no one should ever put all their eggs in one basket. Diversification is preached because it makes you more robust and able to withstand unforeseen financial consequences. As always, don’t invest more than you can afford to lose. If you can’t afford to invest, then invest in yourself to increase earning potential.
