I'm going to say **unequivocally it is NOT safe to use Coinbase** Even with 2FA enabled your account is subject to catastrophic loss because they do not required a 2FA code to DISABLE 2FA

What this means is, its trivial for someone who has hijacked your session to disable 2FA and drain your account.

Coinbase will not offer support in this scenario either they'll apologize and offer canned response and maybe offer to work with police if you pursue an investigation. Yes all your money will be gone and they WILL NOT help you.
