Impossible to log in when your phone does not recognise your fingerprint

We have been doing some DIY in the house. Not entirely relevant to the story but it's why my phone does not recognise my fingerprint. Usually takes a day before it works again because I'm covered in dust.

So my login process is now as follows:

• Open binance website

• Discover that I am logged out

• Open the binance app on my phone

• Need to log in.

• can't use fingerprint, so need to log in with password instead

• Recent app update disabled Autofill, so I can't let my password manager fill in my details (not relevant to this story, just another layer of frustration)

• "tab out" of the app to open my password manager so i can search for and copy my password manually

• tab back into the binance app and fill in my username and password

• slide the puzzle piece into the right place

• Now i need to fill in my authenticator code

• tab out of the app to open my authenticator app

• same thing with fingerprint, but at least here i can use a pincode as an alternative

• copy my auth code

• tab back into the binance app. this is now locked and asks for my fingerprint again

• fingerprint not recognised, so it WANTS MY PASSWORD AGAIN

• repeat all of the above indefinitely

binance has always been over the top with security and that is why it is so good, but these two things are unneccessary and make the app unusable in certain circumstances:

• locking the app DURING THE LOGIN PROCESS (who makes this up??)

• disabling autofill

it's not even a big deal because i can log in tomorrow and it'll be fine. i just wanted to quickly check something. i am busy today. this was only supposed to take 10 seconds. ffs

i understand that this won't be heard and nobody will do anything with this info, i just needed to rant
