In regards to dip buying

What’s up to all my bitcoin fam. Shout out to all the risk takers and world changers that sees what is happening. I tip my hat to ya.

I wanted to drop a piece of advice one of my grandmas told me when buying my first home. Around 2021 my wife and I purchased our first home. It was a big deal because my dad and mom didn’t own a home and I felt like I was on my way to bringing on some possible generational wealth. I was VERY stressed during the buying process. Having a wife and three kids, I wanted to make sure I got the best deal. So I spent so much time worrying about prices. One day I was talking to my grandma, sharing with her my stress. She dropped a gem that I still think about when investing. After sharing my worries, she replied, “Sweetie, regardless of the rate or if it’s a little higher than expected just remember, no one in 20 years says ‘Damn I wish I waited to buy that house’”. And man, that stuck with me. And it’s so true. When you look at the way houses have gone up, people usually wish they purchased another home. So I use that logic with investing today. Taking advantage of dips is fine and can give us a hand up, but ultimately in 20 years when bitcoin is $10,000,000 per coin or whatever astronomical number it is, the dips ain’t gunna matter. It will be such a small blip of time compared to years of long term investing. So with that said, I want to remind yall to breath, relax, and enjoy this amazing ride. The stress of trying to buy in at the rate time is not needed when you plan to HODL. Zooming out and looking at something from a Birds Eye view is quite different than watching the day to day.
