Yes, people that set up scams are to be held accountable for their malicious acts. Yes, they are a low key kind of people trying to take advantage of us. However, we shouldn't ignore our own acts and behaviors.
There are as many scams as there are crypto projects. Heck, maybe even triple the amount of scams. The sole reason they exist, obviously, is that there's a succes rate.
Time and time again people fall for the same kind of scams. Here is another recent example : https://twitter.com/zachxbt/status/1662588069441093633?t=2GJ4B2G4bc8pXJumyGQ6qw&s=19. About 28k USD was transferred at the time of the tweet. That's a good return for such a "simple" scam.
I don't want to blame the victims, but I want everyone to also look at their own behavior. Be careful. If it's too good to be true, it probably is. Listen to your instincts, verify information from multiple sources, and always be hesitant.
The way to reduce scamming is to reduce the succes rate. Start with yourself.
