WE NEED TO SPEAK UP

I recently posted in the community after the congressional hearing that happened. Whoever watched it and understands even the most basic concepts can accurately identify all the misinformation thrown into the Congress's and the viewer's faces. Whether it was out of malice or misunderstanding is debatable.....

These are real people testifying in front of the camera. Whether we like it or not, the things they say are what the wider population hears. To someone just watching the news, this will most certainly look like it is coming from the community. The FTX collapse does have a silver lining, though. Because of it, people are listening.

We NEED to send the right message to people. We need people who live and breathe the technology to talk about it to the wider public. We need people who can take all the important concepts and put it in words even a child can understand much like the meme book "General Relativity for Babies".

Do you know of any content creators who might fit this vision? Maybe we can set up an ethereum donation for them to create content on this. Lol their next video can even say sponsored by the ethereum community. This should have two benefits. One, let's get people to adopt the technology the right way : through information, understanding and hands-on experience. Second, by running something like this, we get to show that this community is NOT led by old dudes who know nothing about the tech, we get to show that we are a living breathing body of people doing real work with real resources ($ and time)!

There are also severe Losses in not doing this. With AI language models getting more and more realistic, spreading misinformation is also getting easier. Let's not get lost in all the noise created by those against the tech. Let's be the one making noise!
