is 0x7a250d5630B4cF539739dF2C5dAcb4c659F2488D really a uniswap address or could be a hacker claiming it is?

I was trying to do my first ever swap (eth for a ERC20 token) in uniswap (i started using it yesterday), the good thing is that i have my ledger wallet for extra security. So i clicked on my computer to start the swap (a mere 100$ in eth for the tokens) and got the message "confirm this transaction in your wallet" the thing is that my ledger didnt show any transaction to be approved, i went to check reddit for solutions and i found that i need to allow blindsigning in the eth app in the ledger, i did that but the message was still on the screen and my wallet was still showing nothing. I close the message window and try to repeat the transaction and same thing, i locked and unlocked the ledger, i also opened the ledger live program in my computer, i refreshed uniswap and i thought i refreshed my metamask as well, still nothing. i closed the window again and tried to do the swap for a 3rd time.

somehow after an hour of no getting anyrequest in my ledger i refreshed my metamask and finallly another screen popped up "requests waiting to be acknowledged", i could see 3 pending transactions but the detail that threw me off was that metamask was stating there was a new address detected and when i look at one of the transactions was ETH going from my eth address (linked to my ledger) to the address i posted in the tittle 0x7a250d5630B4cF539739dF2C5dAcb4c659F2488D and of course this address didnt belong to me so i went to etherscan to search for it and found that it had transactions almost everysecond, i was wondering if this is how a hacker address looks like then i went to the "comments" section and the first comment is someone stating " this address is a privacy router on uniswap" . I decided to reject the 3 transactions even though i think i lost 40$ in gas fees by doing that but fuck it i rather lose money instead of authorizing some transactions that i dont understand.

As i said before this is pretty much my first time using uniswap and i am trying to be extremely careful about anything that doesnt make sense to me. I guess is very possible that when we do a simple swap my eth had to go to the addresss (ending in 488D) where somehow it will be switched to the token i want and that token will be automatically send back to my ethereum address.

My question for the community is "does this address 0x7a250d5630B4cF539739dF2C5dAcb4c659F2488D actually belong to uniswap?" i know the contract overview section states "uniswap v2: reuter 2" but i wonder if its possible for a hacker to create an address or smart contract and give it an exact name of a uniswap contract (like when u create a twitter account with the same name as someone else but u only changed a 0 (number) for O (capital letter) and u steal all the pictures and copy paste the posts and make it look like a clone).

Also another question i have is "if i start a swap transaction but i dont get to approve it with ledger i still have to (somehow) cancel the transaction in metamask or uniswap or is there another way to do it?"

And for all of the scammers, dont DM me cuz i wont answer to anyone and less click on any link-site or wallet or scan any QR code. Any help has to be posted on this thread for anyone to see, dont waste your time in DMs.
