On this side, a "time-lock" in the form of a bruteforceable passphrase is a simple solution. Yes, there are other more elegant solutions, but frankly I can fuck something up myself, and my family members even more so.
If the thief gains access to the phrase, again I will have time to transfer the funds to a new wallet.
