I'm trying to get into DEFI, but I find some aspects difficult to understand. Once inside the crypto space, it seems quite easy to stay anonymous and do transactions on DEXes. But communicating with the real world seems quite difficult.
Every account/wallet/exchange which can hold FIAT is KYC'ed, meaning that the transaction converting FIAT to crypto has identity information.
Based on the amounts and behavior of the transaction(s) one can assume ownership of the wallet receiving crypto from a KYC'ed account.
Do you think this is a problem? What can people or the government do with this information?
