Is antivirus actually good for security?

I have Windows 10 with basically nothing other than browsing crypto sites (including Binance acc with funds).

My Kaspersky Internet Security on Windows 10 is about to expire. It says it has some privacy features and did pop up some warnings a couple of times (can't remember what it was - but something like this webpage is trying to xyz - and option to kill the page).

Should I renew it or uninstall it? From point of view of keeping crypto safe.
