I’ve recently joined Web3 twitter and trying to learn the lingo to keep up with market trends.
I see many people posting insane gains on random coins that pop up almost every day. Like they’ll put $5k SOL into some random meme coin and turn it into $500k in a month. Is this real money, or hypothetical value in markets with no liquidity?
I’m asking because there seems to be a ton of opportunity to make money in crypto - but I have a very busy schedule with work, exercise, and other personal goals and it’s been hard to find the time to embed myself in the web3 community.
I make good money at my current job and there is a lot of upward potential - I enjoy it too. I’m trying to decide if I want to switch to a part-time job and get more into web3 or just lean more into my current career where’s potential to build 7-figure wealth over time (startup equity).
Web3 twitter sounds like ppl are making bags but I wonder if that’s because people don’t post their losses as much. Curious if anyone can share their experience. Thanks!
