In Bitcoin, Node and user(Sender, Recipient) are entirely different

The Bitcoin network protocols do not distinguish different types of participant or assign special roles.

Any participant in the Bitcoin network is a node. This includes senders and receivers of messages. It includes senders and receivers of money. It includes wallets, miners and exchanges. All are just nodes in the Bitcoin network.

The Bitcoin network is often described as a peer-to-peer network. This means all participants are equals.

There is some limited signalling of capabilities. For example, during the startup of a peer connection a node may tell another that it can handle SegWit data. However this does not segregate nodes by roles nor does it mean that senders are not nodes.

Bitcoin was designed as a system of digital cash without any need for trusted third-parties like banks or other financial intermediaries.

However many businesses offer custodial accounts to individuals. Interactions between these customers and these businesses does not use the Bitcoin network. when you log in to an exchange, your computer/device is not a node in the Bitcoin network. Nor is it a sender or receiver.
