Hello guys,
I'm still new to cryptocurrencies. I only started buying coins a few years ago after achieving a stable income. I can't say my holdings made me rich because most of my investments were unsuccessful, but given that I'm not an ""all-in"" guy, there wasn't much loss to turn me away from crypto. So I'm still hoping my investments will bring me some income in the future, and I will continue buying coins.
A couple of days ago, I had a discussion about cryptocurrencies with my friends at a party. When it came to NFT, it turned out that I'm the only one who doesn't own any and doesn't plan to buy one in the near future. My friends said that I'm not a real blockchain supporter if I don't have at least a few pieces and that it's time for me to start building my collection.
One of my friends bragged about having almost 500 pieces, and he doesn't plan to stop. Another one said that he's waiting for Mutant Musks NFTs, arguing that it's a worthy acquisition and a promising project, and I'll regret it later if I don't buy a few. The third one offered to give me a few from his collection for free. Everyone around me started convincing me that I should buy NFTs asap.
Honestly, I never considered buying NFTs. All those weird drawings never sparked any desire to spend money on them, and I never loved collecting things. But all this talking made me curious if my friends were right.
Do you think a crypto investor ought to own NFTs? I'd appreciate it if you could share your opinion.
