I read an interesting discussion related to this topic, but through the whole article I was thinking like - I would say “crypto” is overhyped.
It's obvious that the blockchain is the rails and technology that facilitates cryptocurrencies…
Although we are still in the maturation phase, blockchain has a lot of potential and downsides too.
We can use blockchains for secure digital identities, the Internet of Things, smart contracts, and decentralized governance, Elan Future uses it for renewable free energy, and blockchain is used as well for equitable financial transactions/services.
To be honest, I think that time will tell, I don't think we know the answer yet.
