Hey all, I heard this idea in a podcast I watched and it got me thinking. Given the situation with some exchanges having to stop withdraws gives the idea that some exchanges are fractional reserves. Does that mean there are some fake-bitcoin out there that exchanges have promised that don’t exist? I’ve been thinking about the stock-to-flow ratio predictions. Of course, models are never the complete truth. Regardless, it is an interesting way to think about bitcoin price. If there is greater supply being bought and sold, then that would artificially increase the supply and artificially drive down price. So, not only is bitcoin on sale because of the bear market, but it is on sale because exchanges are being fraudulent.
Any thoughts here?
