I'm fairly technical myself, but have noticed just how impossible it is to get a very non-technical person into crypto. I think we sometimes underestimate just how confusing the UX primitives are for someone that has 0 background in crypto or technology. Are there any wallets or products designed intentionally for people that have absolutely no clue how anything works? I personally find Coinbase very intuitive, but I'm talking about a level below that. Almost like a learning tool but it doubles as a wallet.
