Is there a way I could convince a contractor to take Bitcoin?

I'm not talking about convincing someone who isn't into crypto to get into crypto. I'm talking about if there is an advantage that I could sell to him to take bitcoin as opposed to cash. I am having a home built and pretty soon I'm going to have to give him the first payment. I'm wondering if there is a way I could convince him to take it in Bitcoin that would be financially and tax wise advantageous.

The hurdle will be the fact that he isn't currently interested in crypto as far as I know. So it would be less educating him about the advantages of Bitcoin and more about the advantages financially of taking a payment in Bitcoin.

Has anybody had any success with this or have any ideas? I know it's probably a long shot, but if I can avoid the fees of selling a bunch of Bitcoin for cash to give to him, then I'd like to do that. I can transfer an instantly and not have to sell off as an exchange will allow.
