I have been creating an atomic swap protocol between Eth and a coin I like for a couple weeks. But I just came across two projects that make it seem like it will be a wasted effort: renVM and Flare.
Flare is a project that is bringing smart contract capabilities to non-Turing complete coins.
renVM is a project that wraps coins in a decentralized manner.
With these two projects being developed, what is the point of even trying to develop an atomic swap protocol now? It seems like the benefits of the atomic swap cannot compare and I feel like the only thing I can do is to ask one of those projects to support the coin I like.
