Is there any problem with the BSC BEP20 network?

I sent a considerable amount of USDT from my local exchange to Binance using the BSC BNB smart chain (BEP20) protocol. Despite selecting BSC BEP20 (transfer should be fast 5-30min) and sending it to my BSC USDT wallet on Binance, it's been 5 hours, showing 'ongoing/processing' on my exchange and not showing anything on Binance or BscScan when I enter my wallet address. I've checked the address and network settings. Could this be a technical issue? How can I expedite or resolve this? Appreciate any insights or advice before I contact customer support.
