Is there any reason for me to keep my LRC and not switch to another cryptocurrency?

I want to preface this by saying I don't know a lot about cryptocurrency and I'm only in it from an investment standpoint. I bought some LRC back when the gamestop hype was up and have since put my money into mostly LRC. I check in with the project once in a month or so. Now that I've looked at the new numbers and did some research it seems that Loopring is shifting their focus on their new goldenboy Taiko. There will even be a Token for it. Questions about what this means for LRC holders are left with unsatisfying answers or complicated or open ones. Since I don't know too much about crypto, I'm not sure whether there is any reason for me to stay with Loopring or leave the ship since they expect users don't jump onto their new token which appearently has a different use case, but still, it seems that my investment will be watered down into two projects.

I've also read that gamestop won't support crypto wallets. So is there anything left to this project, is it still very much alive or am I missing something?

And since I don't hold LRC in a wallet but in coinbase, will this affect me differently?
